Morning Routine


Do you have a morning routine? Lately, I have been working on mine. I have found that taking the time to create a morning ritual not only helps you to tune into your body and find that mind-body connection, but also provides you with some "me time" which will allow you to be more readily available to others who may need your attention.






                                                               My Morning Routine :


Lemon Water- I begin each day with a glass of lemon water. Your body needs to rehydrate after a long night's sleep.


Stretching- Each morning I practice a simple ritual of stretching my body with a few yoga poses to awaken my body and stretch out any tightness which can develop overnight.


Meditation- Even if only for 5 minutes, I find that meditation and breath work allow me to start the day on a positive note. It helps me to gain clarity and begin to focus on my day.


Morning Chai or Smoothie- Beginning the morning with something warm or rich in nutrients as I sit down to plan out my day helps me to schedule a day that is manageable and will allow time for the unexpected task.


Exercise- Each morning I try to add in some form of exercise. Most likely it will be a yoga class or a long walk outside.





TIP: Plan a morning routine that works for you. We are all different and it is best to adapt a routine that is best suited for you!
